| K1® Lubrication System |

The high lubrication capacity of the K1 system and its compact size ensure significant performance increase of the linear guides. A ball spindle or linear guide equipped with a K1 system do not require lubrication for 5 years or 10,000 km, on the average.
The NSK K1® unit is manufactured from a porous resin impregnated with lubricant oil, and forming an integral pre-molded unit. A pure lubricant oil is carefully applied on the rail or rod when the K1 system is moved on the running surfaces.
By providing high endurance and not requiring periodical maintenance, the K1 units combine efficiency and environmental protection.
1 – Polyolefin
Polyolefin is a material used in food packages, replacing the vinyl, since the latter can generate toxic dioxines.
2 – Lubricant oil
Produced from mineral oil, with viscosity of 100 cSt.
